CNN Expects a Brokered Convention and That’s GREAT News for Trump [Video]

Super Tuesday has become What the Hell Happened Wednesday. After what was once hailed as the most diverse group of candidates EVAH, Democrats have settled on the two oldest and whitest among them: Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden (see Top Five Dumpster Fire Moments from Joe Biden’s 2020 Campaign and Report: Bernie Sanders Get Confused, Boards Wrong Private Jet). It’s like watching “Grumpy Old Men,” only without Burgess Meredith’s sexual innuendos. But since neither the moron nor the putz took the other one out, it looks like we’re headed for a BROKERED CONVENTION, BAY-BEE!

My friend, it’s the oldest cliche in politics. But the Dems are in fact in disarray. Glorious disarray.

What’s a brokered convention, you ask? Generally speaking, the political conventions are all political theater because you know who the nominee is months earlier. At a brokered convention, there is no clear nominee, and the entire party has to fight it out on the floor. For a visual aid, check out the season 6 finale of “The West Wing.”

It also the best possible thing for Donald Trump, because the two factions of the Democrat Party are vehemently opposed to each other. They’ll be beating the crap out of each other all the way to Milwaukee in July — mostly rhetorically, though some Bernie Bros have anger management issues. The longer this goes on, the longer it is before they can try to reunite and get over their boo-boo faces. Plus, each side has something the other side needs and that Trump can exploit.

Biden has the African-American vote (that doesn’t seem to like Bernie) and the moderate coalition that led to the Democrat wave in 2018. If Bernie wins, black voters like Trump a lot more than liberals want to admit, and suddenly Republicans regaining the House is an option.

Bernie’s activist base is anti the war, anti some of our trade policies, and anti a number of other issues Biden has supported over his 217-year political career. Trump also opposed the war and a lot of our trade policies. That doesn’t mean Trump is going to win the Bernie coalition. But he could peel off enough of them. Others could sit out of the race altogether. As the boss points out here.

Democrats end their nomination process with a damaged candidate and a lot of bruised feelings. Trump ends his with a coronation and an opportunity to reach out to the losing Democrat faction. Long story short, take your time, Democrats!

Hi there! Someone in my Facebook group shared this site with us so I came to give it
a look. I’m definitely enjoying the information. I’m
book-marking and will be tweeting this to my followers!
Wonderful blog and brilliant design and style.
Way cool! Some very valid points! I appreciate
you writing this article plus the rest of the website is extremely good.
Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this website.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s hard to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appeal.
I must say you’ve done a excellent job with this. In addition, the blog loads super fast
for me on Chrome. Outstanding Blog!
